How to Set Up Delivery Charges for Your Store
Updated 6 days ago
You can set delivery charges for your store in three ways - Normal, Pincode-based, or Geo Fencing. Follow these simple steps to set them up.
Settings
-
Login to your Zepio admin panel.
-
From the left side menu, go to Settings > Delivery Charges.
-
Here you will see different options to configure:
Normal Delivery Charges
- Under Default Delivery Charges, enter the flat delivery charge amount for all orders.
- You can also set a Free Delivery Threshold by entering an amount above which delivery will be free for customers.
- Add a Default Delivery Message if needed to show on the checkout page.
Delivery Zone Restriction
- You can enable Delivery Zone Restriction to limit delivery to specific areas only.
- Toggle the option to On if you want to use this feature.
Operation Mode: Geo Fencing or Pincode
- Choose your Operation Mode:
- Pincode: Set delivery zones based on pincodes.
- Geo Fencing: Set delivery zones based on mapped geographical areas.
-
After selecting Pincode Mode, click Add New Zone to create your delivery zones.
-
Enter the Zone Name (example: Chennai North).
-
Choose the Delivery Charge Type:
- Fixed: Same delivery charge for all orders in this zone.
- Variable: Different charges based on order value ranges.
-
If you choose Variable, set the Order Value Range and Delivery Charge for each range. You can add more rules if needed.
-
Under the zone, add the Pincodes covered by this zone. You can add multiple pincodes seperated by commas. Example: 560100, 560101, 560102
-
Click Add Zone to save your zone settings.
-
Repeat these steps to add more delivery zones if required.
-
If using Geo Fencing Mode, follow similar steps to create zones, define delivery charges, and map areas using your geo-fencing setup. You can create multiple areas in a single zone.
-
Finally, scroll down and click Apply Changes to save all your delivery settings.
Note
Make sure to test your delivery charges setup by adding products to the cart and checking the delivery charges with different pincodes or within geo-fenced areas to confirm everything is working properly before going live.
