Managing Taxes for Your Store

You can create different tax rates and assign them to products as needed for billing.

Creating a New Tax

  1. Login to your Zepio admin panel.

  2. From the left side menu, go to Settings > Taxes.

  3. Click on Add New Tax.

  4. Enter the Tax Name (for example, GST 18%).

  5. Enter the Tax Percentage (for example, 18).

  6. After entering the details, click Save. Your new tax rate is now created and available for use.


Viewing and Managing Existing Taxes

  1. Go to Settings > Taxes.

  2. You will see a list of all taxes you have created.

  3. To edit a tax, click the Edit button next to it, update the details, and click Save.

  4. To delete a tax, click the Delete button next to it.
    Note: Make sure the tax is not assigned to any products before deleting to avoid errors.


Assigning a Tax to a Product

  1. Go to Catalog > Products.

  2. Find the product you want to update and click Edit.

  3. Scroll down to the Shipping & Tax Settings section.

  4. In the Tax dropdown, select the tax rate you want to assign to this product.

  5. Scroll down and click Update Product to save the changes.

Similarly, you can do it for new product as well.


Note

Always create and assign the correct tax rates to ensure accurate billing and compliance with your regional tax laws.
