Collections - Create Product Groups
Updated 2 weeks ago
What is a Collection?
A Collection is a curated group of products that you display together on a dedicated page in your store. Think of it like a custom shelf or section, you decide which products appear together and what the collection is called.
Collections help customers discover products faster, make seasonal promotions easier, improve store navigation, and create dedicated landing pages for marketing campaigns.
For example:
- Healthy Snacks Under ₹100
- New Arrivals – June 2026
- Protein-Rich Products
- Bestsellers
- Diwali Gift Hampers
Each collection gets its own URL (for example, yourstore.com/collection/healthy-snacks) that you can share anywhere, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email campaigns, QR codes, or anywhere else online.
Note: Products are not copied into a collection. A collection simply groups your existing products. If you update a product, those changes automatically appear everywhere that product is used.
Who Can Use Collections?
Collections are available to Admin and Staffs. You can create and manage them from:
Admin Panel → Collections
Customers browse your collections directly from your website or app, where they can filter and sort products without leaving the page.
Creating a Collection
- Go to Admin Panel → Collections
- Click Add New Collection
- Fill in the collection details:
Basic Information
- Title – The name of your collection (for example, Healthy Snacks)
- Slug – The collection URL (automatically generated but editable)
- Description – A rich-text description shown on the collection page
Banner Media
You can upload separate media for desktop and mobile devices.
- Desktop Banner Image
- Mobile Banner Image
- Desktop Banner Video
- Mobile Banner Video
SEO
- SEO Title
- SEO Description
- SEO Image
These help your collection appear better in search engines like Google.
Collection Type
Choose one:
- Manual
- Automatic
(Explained below.)
Status
- Active
- Inactive
Inactive collections remain hidden from customers until you're ready to publish them.
- Click Save.
Your collection is immediately ready to use. If its status is Active, customers can access it right away.
Manual vs Automatic Collections
Manual Collection
A manual collection lets you choose exactly which products belong in the collection.
You add and remove products yourself whenever needed.
Best for
- Featured products
- Gift hampers
- Seasonal promotions
- Curated product lists
- Editor's picks
How it works
After creating the collection, simply search your product catalog and add products one by one.
Automatic Collection
Automatic collections manage themselves.
Instead of manually selecting products, you define one or more rules. The collection will automatically include both your existing products and any future products that match those rules.
Whenever a product starts matching the rules, it is automatically added.
Whenever it no longer matches, it is automatically removed.
Best for
- All products in a category
- Products under a certain price
- Products with specific attributes
- Bestselling categories
- New arrivals
- Promotional collections
Automatic Collection Rules
You can build one or more rules for your collection.
First choose whether products must match:
- All conditions
- Any condition
All Conditions
A product must satisfy every rule before it appears in the collection.
Example
Category = Snacks
AND
Price < ₹100
Only snack products priced under ₹100 will be included.
Any Condition
A product only needs to satisfy one of the rules.
Example
Category = Snacks
OR
Category = Beverages
Products from either category will be included.
Available Rule Types
| Rule | What it checks |
|---|---|
| Product Title | Product name |
| Product Category | Product category |
| Product Price | Selling price |
| Inventory Stock | Current inventory quantity |
| Product Attributes | Product attributes such as Weight, Size, Calories, Brand, etc. |
Practical Examples
Example 1 – Healthy Snacks
Category = Snacks
AND
Price < ₹100
Only snack products priced below ₹100 appear.
Example 2 – Protein Products
Attribute: Protein
contains
High
Products with a matching attribute are automatically added.
Example 3 – Low Stock Products
Inventory Stock
less than
10
Products with fewer than 10 items remaining automatically become part of the collection.
Example 4 – Summer Collection
Product Title
contains
Summer
Any current or future product whose title contains "Summer" will automatically appear.
Collection Filters & Sorting
When customers visit a collection page, they can:
-
Filter products using attributes such as Size, Weight, Brand, Color, Calories, Shelf Life, or any other filterable attribute
-
Sort products by:
- Relevance
- Price: Low to High
- Price: High to Low
Filter options are generated automatically based on the products inside the collection.
Only product attributes marked as Filterable are shown as filters.
Managing Filterable Attributes
Go to:
Admin Panel → Settings → Product Attributes
Each attribute includes a Filterable toggle.
Disable this option for attributes you don't want customers to use for filtering.
Using Collection Pages
Every collection has its own dedicated page.
Example:
yourstore.com/collection/healthy-snacks
Because every collection has its own page, you can use collections as landing pages for promotions, advertisements, seasonal campaigns, and search engine optimization.
Where Can You Link a Collection?
Collections can be linked from almost anywhere.
Inside Your Store
| Location | Usage |
|---|---|
| Homepage Builder | Link banners, buttons, or featured sections to a collection |
| Navigation Menu | Add collections to your main navigation |
| Footer Links | Link collections from your footer |
| Promotional Banners | Send customers directly to a collection |
| Custom Pages | Link collections anywhere inside your website |
Outside Your Store
Collections are perfect landing pages for:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- Email campaigns
- QR Codes
- SMS campaigns
- Blog articles
Simply share the collection URL.

If you're using Custom HTML anywhere in your store, you can link directly to a collection.
