How to Add Your First Product in Zepio

This guide shows you how to add a product to your Zepio store. It’s easy! Follow these steps to set up your product’s details, images, pricing, and more.

Navigation: From your Admin Dashboard, go to Catalog > Products > Add New Product.

Enter Product Information

Fill in the basic details about your product.

• Name: Type the product’s name (e.g., “Blue T-Shirt”).
• Description: Write a short description of the product (e.g., “Comfortable cotton t-shirt for everyday wear”).
• Selling Price: Enter the price (e.g., ₹500).
• Discounted Price (optional): If offering a discount, enter the lower price (e.g., ₹450).

Select Categories

Choose at least one category for your product to help customers find it.

• Click the Category Selection dropdown.
• Pick one or more categories (e.g., “Clothing,” “Men’s Fashion”).
• If no categories exist, go to Catalog > Categories to create one first.

Add Media (Optional)

Add images, a 3D file, or a YouTube video to show off your product.

Images

• Click Upload Images.
• Select up to 10 images from your device.
• Crop the images using Zepio’s built-in tool.
• Zepio automatically optimizes images for fast loading and great quality.

3D File

• Click Upload 3D File.
• Choose a GLB or GLTF file for a 3D view of your product.
• Note: “View in Own Space” works only on Android. On iOS and desktop, only the 3D view is shown.

YouTube Video

• Paste a YouTube video URL in the Video URL field.
• The video will appear at the end of the product’s image carousel.

Set Up Inventory (Optional)

Decide if you want to track the product’s quantity.

• Track Quantity:
  • Choose Enable to track how many items you have.
  • Enter the Quantity (e.g., 50).
  • Add an SKU (e.g., “TSHIRT-BLUE”) or leave blank for Zepio to create one.
  • Set Min Quantity to Order (e.g., 1) and Max Quantity to Order (e.g., 10).
• If you don’t want to track quantity, choose Disable.

Configure Shipping & Tax (Optional)

Set how taxes apply to your product.

• Click the Tax Rate dropdown.
• Choose a tax rate (e.g., “18% GST”).
• To add or edit tax rates, go to Admin > Settings > Tax Settings. Zepio includes Indian GST rates by default.

Add Variants (Optional)

If your product comes in different options (e.g., sizes or colors), use variants.

• Click Add Variants.
• Enter an Option Name (e.g., “Size” or “Color”).
• Add Option Values (e.g., for Size: “Small,” “Medium”; for Color: “Red,” “Green”).
• Zepio creates combinations (e.g., Small-Red, Small-Green, Medium-Red, Medium-Green).
• For each variant:
  • Set the Price (e.g., ₹500 for Small-Red).
  • Add an SKU or leave blank for auto-generation.

Example: A t-shirt with Size (Small, Medium) and Color (Red, Green) creates four variants: Small-Red, Small-Green, Medium-Red, Medium-Green.

Set Up Addons (Optional)

Addons let customers choose extras for the product or its variants (e.g., material types or pizza toppings).

• Click Add Addons.
• Enter an Addon Name (e.g., “Material”).
• Add Addon Values (e.g., “Regular,” “Cotton,” “Silk”).
• Choose if customers can pick One or Multiple values.
• Set a Price for each addon value (e.g., Cotton: +₹50).
• If using variants, select which variants the addon applies to (e.g., Cotton for Small-Red only).

Restaurant Example (Pizza Toppings):

• Addon Name: Toppings
• Addon Values: Extra Cheese, Pepperoni, Mushrooms
• Selection: Multiple
• Price: Extra Cheese (+₹30), Pepperoni (+₹40), Mushrooms (+₹20)
• Applies to: All pizza variants (e.g., Small-Margherita, Large-Pepperoni)

Add Suggested Products (Optional)

Suggest other products to show when this product is added to the cart.

• Click Suggestions.
• Select products from your store to recommend.
• If you don’t choose any, Zepio shows products from the same category.

Set Product Status

Choose if the product is visible in your store.

• Select Enable to make the product available for purchase.
• Select Disable to hide it temporarily (e.g., out of stock).

Save Your Product

• Click Save to add the product to your store.
• Go to Catalog > Products to see your product in the list.
• Click View Product to check how it looks on your store’s front end.

Tips

• Double-check your product’s Name, Price, and Categories to ensure they’re correct.
• Add clear images and a description to make your product appealing.
