Creating Flat Discount for an Order

Discounts help you attract more customers by giving them special offers on customers or orders values. In Zepio, you can create different types of discounts based on your business needs.

Where to Find Discounts

1. Login to your Zepio admin panel.
2. From the left side menu, go to Discounts.

Steps to Create a New Discount

1. Click on Add Discount at the top right of the Discounts page.

2. Select Flat Discount as your discount type.

3. Enter the following details:

   • Discount Name: For your reference (example: Flat ₹100 OFF).
   • Description: Short description about the discount (optional).
   • Coupon Code: Enter a code if you want customers to use it for availing the discount (optional).

4. Configure Customer Eligibility:

   • You can choose if the discount is for all customers or only for new customers by toggling the option.

5. Set Discount Amount and Order Requirements:

   • Discount Amount: Enter how much discount you want to give (example: ₹100).
   • Minimum Subtotal: Minimum order amount required to apply this discount (example: ₹999).
   • Minimum Quantity: Minimum number of products required in the cart (optional).

6. Define Usage Limits:

   • Maximum Uses: How many times this discount can be used in total.
   • Maximum Uses Per Customer: How many times a single customer can use this discount.

7. Setup Combination Rules:

   • Decide if this discount can be combined with other discounts or not by choosing the option.

8. Set Active Period:

   • Start Date & Time: When the discount will start.
   • End Date & Time: When the discount will end.
   • Active Status Toggle: Turn it ON to make the discount active immediately.

9. After entering all details, click Add Discount to save and activate the discount.

Viewing Created Discounts

• Once saved, your created discount will appear in the Discounts list showing:
  • Name
  • Coupon Code
  • Created On
  • Last Modified
  • Start & End Date
  • Status

Example to Understand Better

• You want to give a Flat ₹100 OFF on orders above ₹999:
  • Create a Flat Discount with ₹100 as discount amount.
  • Set Minimum Subtotal as ₹999.
  • Customers placing orders of ₹999 or above will get ₹100 off automatically (if no coupon code is required) or by using the coupon code you provide.

Notes

• Discounts help in increasing your sales by motivating customers to buy more.
• Always set start and end dates properly to avoid running offers by mistake after campaign periods.
• You can edit or delete discounts anytime from the Discounts list.
