Managing Scratch Cards

Scratch Cards are a great way to reward your customers with cashback offers or rewards after they place an order. You can set it up to generate automatically or create scratch cards manually for special promotions.

What is Scratch Cards Feature?

• Auto Generate Scratch Cards:
  You can set up the system to automatically generate a scratch card whenever an order is completed by a customer.

• Manual Scratch Card Generation:
  You can also create scratch cards manually and assign them to customers for special campaigns or loyalty rewards.

Where Will the Scratch Card Amount Go?

In the Scratch Card Settings, you can choose where the scratch card amount should be credited:

1. Wallet:

   • The amount credited to Wallet can be fully used by the customer when placing their next order.
   • Example: If the scratch card gives ₹50 cashback, the customer can use the entire ₹50 in their next order.

2. Reward Wallet:

   • The amount credited here will follow the rules set in your Rewards Points Plugin.
   • For example, if a customer has ₹100 in their Reward Wallet and you have set a limit of ₹20 usage per order in Plugins > Rewards Points, then the customer can use only ₹20 from their Reward Wallet for an order, even if they have ₹100.

Steps to Set Up Scratch Cards

1. Login to your Zepio admin panel.

2. From the left side menu, go to Plugins > Scratch Cards.

3. In the Scratch Cards settings:

   • Enable auto generation if you want scratch cards to be generated automatically when orders are completed.
   • Choose where the scratch card amount will go (Wallet or Reward Wallet) based on your business preference.

4. To create scratch cards manually:

   • Click on Create Scratch Card.
   • Enter the amount or reward value.
   • Select the validity period and other necessary details.
   • Assign it to a customer if needed.

5. After setting up, click Save or Apply Changes to activate your scratch card settings.

How Customers Use Scratch Cards

• When a customer receives a scratch card, they can scratch and reveal the reward amount.
• Depending on your settings, the amount will be credited to their Wallet or Reward Wallet.
• They can use it as per the usage rules defined for each wallet type during checkout.

• Scratch Cards are an effective way to build customer loyalty and encourage repeat purchases.
• Always plan your cashback or reward values based on your profit margins to run promotions sustainably.
